The Joy of the Guitar

Long ago, there was the Guitar. Many people became enthralled with this instrument after hearing the beautiful melody of “Jeux Interdits”,played so plaintively by Narciso Yepes.
The Guitar boom came and went, but the Guitar itself became finally entrenched in the national character of Japan.

Even so, Guitar music is only a minor category in CD shops, and it isn’t easy to find one’s favorite pieces.

We, Ken and Tossy, have always loved the Guitar deeply and we have been playing Guitar duets for 40 years. We have built up a repertoire of over 600 pieces — everything from classical and Japanese popular songs to children’s songs and folk songs.
We enjoyed this music by ourselves, but now want to share it with you, utilizing MP3 music technology.

We were hesitant at first, because our performances could never approach those of great professionals. We do hope however, that you will enjoy the simple flavor of amateur playing, as the message is conveyed to you through the sound of the strings.
